“Residents seek to reverse tower approval”

A legal hearing is scheduled to be held next week in an effort by residents to overturn the Zoning Board of Appeals’ September approval of a 90-foot cell tower to be built at 3671 Sheridan Drive. Upstate Cellular Network, doing business as Verizon Wireless, is seeking to expand its services by installing the tower, which is behind the property owned by Public Storage.
